Plan with a reroof
Coordinate ridge work, penetrations and the new covering in the replacement scope.
Plan roof replacement
Check intake and exhaust together when roof replacement or a moisture concern raises a ventilation question.
Ventilation needs a path for air to enter low on the roof and leave higher up. Adding an exhaust vent without a usable intake path does not establish that flow. A reroof is a useful time to look at the arrangement because changes to ridge and roof penetrations can be planned with the covering.
Moisture beneath a roof has several possible sources, including air leakage from the living space as well as rain entry. A ventilation change is not a substitute for repairing a roof leak or addressing the source of indoor moisture. We help separate those questions so one measure is not asked to solve every problem.

The roof configuration and existing intake determine the workable approach. The selected product must be installed as part of a compatible roof assembly.
The inspection can identify the visible roof arrangement and explain where further investigation is useful. Roof shape and concealed conditions prevent one universal vent solution.

Roof leak repairs
A useful ventilation plan considers intake, exhaust and the roof configuration together. Start with a free inspection and explain the concern you have noticed.
