Limited membrane repair
Address a defined failure with sound surrounding material.
Flat roof repair
Plan TPO membrane repairs and replacement around seams, penetrations, attachment and the roof assembly.
TPO is a single-ply membrane with heat-welded seams. On an occupied building, the useful repair starts with identifying where the continuous surface is interrupted: a seam, equipment curb, drain or penetration. The visible opening and the moisture below it both affect how far the work reaches.
A compatible patch needs prepared membrane and a sound welded connection. Surface dirt, deterioration and old repairs can make that connection more demanding. Wet insulation beneath the membrane changes the scope beyond the top layer.

A roof walk considers both the membrane and how the building drains. The patch should not be chosen separately from the detail it has to join.
Drainage, existing attachment, moisture and the condition of the membrane help determine the suitable direction. Access to rooftop units and occupied space beneath the work belongs in the plan.

Flat roof repairDeteriorated or wet assemblies require a wider scope. A coating is a separate compatibility and preparation decision.
